- Whether ingredient analysis was successful or failed
- Number of app installs
- Which ingredients were analyzed (not linked to individual users)
What We DON'T Collect

- No User Accounts: ScanWise does not require login or account creation. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers.
- No Image Storage: Photos you take are processed in real-time by AI models and are not saved or stored anywhere.
- No Location Data: We do not track your location.
- No Personal Information: We do not collect any personally identifiable information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the minimal information we collect to:
- Process ingredient lists through AI technology to provide health insights
- Track anonymous statistics to understand app performance (success/failure rates)
- Maintain and improve the app's functionality and user experience

sent directly to AI processing services (like Gemini) in real-time and are not stored. Only anonymized analytics
data is retained in our real-time database, with no connection to individual users or their images.

- No Data to Delete: We do not store your images or personal information, so there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete.
- Uninstall: You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection.
- Anonymous Analytics: The only data we collect is anonymous and not linked to you personally.
Children's Privacy
ScanWise is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Third-Party Services
ScanWise uses third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini) to process ingredient images in real-time. When you
take a photo of an ingredient list, that image is sent to the AI provider for text extraction and analysis. These
